Welcome to the new home of my author website. I hope you check out the new layout and subscribe to the new site to stay up to date on what is happening Since I have not posted since September I think you guys are overdue for an update.

So the last few months I have been doing a video blog and posting it on youtube and my blog if you have not check my blog out yet click here. I have my book trailers and video blog on this account. I have also been working on my fist game mobile game for The Adventure of Cubbie Bear series. Not as much progress I made as I hoped. I am still willing to make one and might get something for Christmas to make the process go a little smoother. Also, THE CHICAGO CUBS ARE WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS!!!! The second book of The Adventures of Cubbie Bear series is coming. My little sis is working slowly on the pictures. I will update you all when the date is set. 

More great things to come in 2017!

Should I Start a Video Blog?

Ok, it has been a few months since my last post sorry guys. I have been busy with work and hanging with friends and Pokemon Go that I have not had time to post. I have been watching a video blog of a guy who lives in the UK, and it made me think. Would it be easier if I just did a video blog and uploaded to youtube? It would be cheaper for sure. I would not have to worry too much about hosting and stuff. And I could video my Pokemon hunts and some exciting new with my book and things like that. So I want everyone to comment either on my blog or facebook, twitter, google plus. Where ever and let me know your thoughts if I stop blogging and try a video blog. Or just try a few video blog and see how we can go from there.

I have now published a total of seven articles on blasting news many are Chicago Cubs related but, one is a movie review on Finding Dory. On Friday, June 17th My family and I went to the zoo. I even took Cubbie Bear and his friend Krizzo.

We also so saw an alligator and other swamp animals also otters!

Sadly my phone was dead so I do not have any of those pictures. :(

But, there are many more animals for Cubbie Bear and Krizzo to meet so Until the next trip!

Rest in Peace Milky

At around 8:15 pm last night my sister's beloved bunny Milky passed away. She was not doing to well Tuesday when we found that she had trouble hopping. We took her to the vet the next morning and found out she had measles. So she stayed overnight and most of the day Thursday. When we picked her up that evening and told us to give her pain medicine twice a day.



Though we are all sad about the loss, we also remember the long nine years she had with us. Though the first month that we had her was scary, she lived passed it and for nine long years. My little sis learned that she wanted to work with animals and since Milky seemed to need medicine. Milky was my sister's first patient and she worked really hard to give Milky a great long life.

Breaking News

I have a few announcements I would like to make today as well. First, I have decided to start reviewing movies and maybe some books. I will post them right here. I will try to do it once a month. I hope to see many new movies that are in theaters but, also review some on DVD. Your suggestions are welcome. Please keep the film rating at PG-13 or lower when suggesting.
The next announcement is that I am just about done with school which means I hope to have more time to post at leat once or every other week. I hope maybe to have an episode or two of my podcast. Though I will be working so time will be tight, but I plan to make room for it. With that said, please comment your suggestions for movies, books, and questions or topic you would like me to talk about on my podcast. Don't forget to share this post with family and friends!

I am still working on adding some cool stuff, but it is up!

This site is just meant to allow visitors to learn more about the book and to interact with the characters!

Did I say interact? I sure did!

I am working on a game base off the first book for visitors to be able to play.

It is a working process so maybe a little bit but, I hope many visitors enjoy the game.

New Children's Book Coming Soon!

Exciting news! I will be publishing a children's book by the end of this month or beginning of April. What is this book about, Well, if you remember my Cubbie Bear poem in my first poetry book. Check it out here if you have not read it! This book is in Cubbie Bear's point of view. It is the story of how he became my teddy bear. The book is called "The Adventure of Cubbie Bear: Going Home". My hope is to make this a series of books about the adventures we had when I was younger. I am working on getting some illustrations for this book. I hope to have it available on Kindle by the beginning of April and try to make it accessible in paperback and other ebook forms. I will update you with a trailer and an exact release date soon.

Dead Dreams Kickstart fundraiser

 



Hello, everyone! Today I would like to let you know of a fundraiser that I have started. I created a kickstart fundraiser. I want to raise at least $1,000 for my novel. This money will go to cost on publishing and promoting the book. This money will also cover the cost for a professional edit. This  fundraiser will run for 30 days. Also, If you help me out for only $10 you will receive an e-book version of the book the latest August of this year. I would like you to check it out!

Exciting News New Items

 



So... I have some exciting news to share with everyone!

1. I am going to have my first guest post!!!! She is a young self-published writer like I am. I offered to have her guest post. I was thinking we would do a Q&A post where YOU can submit your questions in the comment section so we can have the post sometime next month.  Any question is up for the taking!


2. I found an awesome website called authorgraph.com where YOU can request any author to sign an e-book version of their book at NO CHARGE!!! Find out more!


3. I am self-narrating my audible books. I am in the  recording stage of my books for the audible version. More info coming soon.

Happy New Years: My New Years Resolution

Happy New Years everyone!! I have some great news to let you know about. I am now on instagram!!! My username is kaitlyn1052 if you want to try to find me. I also invested in a brand new phone! It is really big so hoping I will not loss it and is very nice. I also wanted to share my new year resolution with you guys.
1. My goal this year personally in my writing career is to publish my novel this coming summer.
2. I want to sell more of my books
3. I want to finish my first year of college strong.
4. I want t to continue enjoying my job at the Museum.
5. Make sure you, my readers, are enjoying what I am doing and continue to support you.
