Happy ThanksGiving and Black Friday!

Hi, Everyone! I hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving. Spending time with family and friends and not shopping until now. I enjoyed my Thanksgiving, we watched May's Thanksgiving parade and then went to see Goosebumps in 3D. I enjoyed the movie. Then we went to Golden Coral for dinner, and I did have my turkey and mashed potatoes. Once we were finished eating, we went to the BestBuy in the strip mall and my parents picked up some stuff as I kept my sister occupied since my parents were picking up something for her. Then we went to Target as well, and there was a Starbucks there. Making a joke, I said we could get hot chocolate. Of course, I was forced to get my sister a hot chocolate. That was the only thing I bought that last night. Bestbuy was more packed then Target was since we arrived at Bestbuy as they were letting people in. No one got hurt or any fights of what I know of. So I hope everyone had a get Thanksgiving and Shopping this great Black Friday.

Happy Holidays,

Kailyn

New Self-Publishing Resources

Hi, Everyone! I have been busy searching many different marketing services that I could use to promote my books. Earlier today, Amazon send me a newsletter and on the right-hand side I saw many new services Amazon has. I looked into all of them and now so excited that I want to share them with you and see if you would help me use these services.

  1. http://www.kindlescout.com- this is a new publishing service with Amazon where the readers are in control on which books get published. I think this could be an excellent opportunity for me to use for my novel that should come out this summer. Please check the site out and let me know if you would help me become published through this service.

  2. http://www.acx.com- an audiobook self-publishing service. Where I can get an audiobook version of my book available on Audible, Amazon and iTunes. I think I will also try this service with my novel. Unless otherwise requested.

Please check out these sites and let me know what you like through commenting!

I would like to thank you all for the support and hope to write soon!

Pray for Paris

Pray for Paris

As many of you have heard that there were six attacks in Pairs yesterday. I do not know a lot to be honest but, I wanted to do a particular post to ask you, my readers, to pray for Paris. They are in for a rough time, and we all need to stand and help them. Even with the language barrier. So for the next few days I want everyone to reflect on how our lives are unique and one hundred and twenty life were lost yesterday. (That is the number I heard last night on the news. I do not know if that is still true.)

Unique

our lives

are special

They are

important

but,

when lives

are

cut short

It is

not fair

But,

the world

is never fair

Today lets

Reflect

on how

unique

our lives

are

and

Pray for

the

120

lives

lost

PRAY FOR PARIS

Fifty Word Flash Fiction

One October FranklyWrite.com Photo | Prompt

My Dream Wedding

My new life with the love of my life begins with the five hundred dollar wedding dress and his nicely pressed tux with a bowtie of course. After we had said our vows, we partied the night away with our families. This is my dream wedding. Chesses!

So a new challenge that I am starting for flash fiction that is only fifty words long this will be a monthly event.

Hope you enjoyed this Flash Fiction!

Monday Poetry: Missing

Missing

Heart beating

Five times faster

You can not breath

Or

Think

Where is she?

"Kailyn!!!!!!!!"

No answer

Heart rate rises

"Kailyn!!!!!!!!!"

No answer

So inspiration is just what a mother or parent is feeling as they are looking for their lost child. The panic and fear.

Sorry for the miss absent

Hope you enjoy this poem!

What I have Been and am Doing.

Hi, everyone! Happy Wednesday! I wanted to do an update for you guys! I did a little bit of changing to the site today and will continue to do so. The biggest difference so far is my book pages have totally upgraded. They are, I believe, more professional so, please take a peek at them! Also, it is November! This month is special for a writer because it is writing a novel month! Therefore, I have joined a site called NaNoWriMo. This site is designed for writers to come together with one primary goal, to write 50,000 words by the end of the month. In which this becomes their novel. I am planning on finishing my first novel and have it published by summer in 2016 if not sooner. Therefore, all my writing is focused on finishing this book this month.  So if you do not see many post this month that is why. I plan to continue the Monday Poetry. There will a post after this with this weeks poem.

Thank you, everyone, for your support!

More news to come in the following months, make sure to subscribe to my newsletter, to get sneak peeks on my newest books.
